APPLICATION:
After cleaning face, start by applying a small amount to cheek bones, eyes (it’s great for eye-lash growth!) and the middle of forehead. Slowly massage into skin and add more where needed. Recommended for daily use at night before bed.

Oils on my face? I’m worried it will clog my pores.
This salve is specifically formulated for the face due to its fast-absorbing “dry oil” base. All of the oils included in this blend are non-comedogenic for pores (doesn’t clog). By applying these correct oils regularly, we can holistically boost our face's ability to find its own moisture equilibrium.

Should I use this if my skin’s already oily?
Yes. It is counter-intuitive, but dry skin is a major culprit to oily, acne-ridden skin. Consistently dry skin causes our body to overproduce sebum (your skin’s natural oil) to compensate, leading to clogged pores and acne formation. When used in limited amounts regularly, plant-based skincare boosts skin’s natural defense system and helps our skin achieve microbial balance, which will result in naturally less oily skin.

Can I use this all over my body?
Yes. However, we recommend applying the Woodie Rose Healing Salve throughout the body as it is formulated for this purpose. The healing salve has a heavier base oil (olive oil), which will support deeper absorption and healing for tougher skin, dry or irritated patches.

What’s the shelf-life?
If kept in a cool area out of the sun with no contact with water, the product will last a year or more. Avoid moisture and excessive light to preserve product.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT NOTES:

· White beads may be present in the salve if it was heated during transit. The white beads are fatty acids goodness that separate from other matter because they have a lower melting point. This is totally normal and does not affect the efficacy of the salve. The beads will melt upon contact with your skin.

· Residual plant matter at the bottom of your salve jar is normal and can be applied to the skin for extra nourishment.

· Uneven salve/balm surface is caused due to pouring mechanism and is normal. This does not mean your salve product has been already used.
